Spring Skittlete Nails

I wanted something fun and happy for today but I couldn't quite make up my mind about the design.

That's when skittletes come into the picture - they're perfect for when you're wanting different designs on your nails at the same time :)

So I came up with this one:

Spring Skittlete Nails

They were the perfect combination of what I had in mind.
You've got neon, you've got gots and you've got roses - love it!

On my index and pinkie fingers you have Inocos Rosa Shocka-me, which is a bright neon pink (great under UV light) and on my middle finger you have Inocos Verde de Fome - it'd been a while since I'd last worn it and I'd forgotten how awesome it actually is :)
Inocos Pipoca em Viagem is the white polish on my ring finger.

For the pink nails I applied some simple tear shaped black studs.
Over the gorgeous green nail I went for a gradient dotticure - had never done one before, I think, and I quite love how it turned out.
For my ring finger, I saved some beautiful roses, which are all made in nail polish (no acrylic paints, so hey for me! :)).

How do you like skittletes? Are they your thing or do you prefer having your nails all look the same?
I wanna know, so leave me a comment below and I'll talk to you soon :)

  5. I love skittles designs, but I find they take a beginner like me some thought to create a nicely balanced look. I like how you can combine different elements in one manicure with skittles and your design today is a lovely combination. Very bright and cheerful! :)

  6. Those roses on your nailtip are SO pretty, and they are the perfect way to tie in the rest of the nails.

  7. Ooh, I love how you added black to your roses, makes them look sort of "cartoony"! And the rest of the skittle is so pretty as well, love the springy colors!
