Purple Gradient Fail

Today's nails are a bit of a fail. I was aiming at a beautiful purple gradient, but I didn't choose my polishes right and they didn't blend nicely with one another.

So this goes to prove that even ater I've been doing nails for two years, I still get it wrong sometimes...
(And that's okay ;))

Here they are - definitely not my smoothest gradient.

Actually I think it's been a while since I've done such a bad one...

I started by painting my nails one coat of Kiko Lilac (No.330).

I then went sponging the gradient with Kiko Magnetic Purple (No.704) and Kiko Violet Microglitter (No.255).

I tried rescueing it by adding some gold triangle studs but this wasn't one for rescue.

Lesson learnt! These three polishes weren't made to mingle ;)
