It's Back To School!!! - Day 3

And today's theme was:

As both favourite and least favourite were mentioned I though I'd do my mani contemplating the two - gotta stay positive: that's how you survive school years ;) hahaha

As such, I prepared a mani I'm quite proud of and you shall see why in a minute ;)

Can you guess which was my favourite and which wasn't? ;)
I have to thank two very talented bloggers, whose Youtube tutorials helped me make two of the nails the most gorgeous possible :)

First of all my thumb - a cute pastel version of the Union Jack, recreated from Odette Swan's beautiful design :)
You can check her blog here and the video tutorial here.
I so love her tutorials! She is so careful and neat when doing a design and she does everything in such a calm manner, you can really see how it is all done - make sure to check both links to see how talented ones do it :D

As for the sketch-ish Eiffel Tower, I was lucky to have Tips and Topcoat tutorial.
To check her blog and massive talent at freehanding almost anything click here. For the tutorial on this particular design go here.

As for my middle finger I went with a romantic like flower stamping pattern - they do say Paris is the city of love.
My pinkie is portraying a saran wrap of white and grey, which you can't see very well, mostly because I had no idea what to do on it and anyway it ended up serving the purpose of showing you my first skittle mani ever  ;)

And now, for my pièce de résistance - my one and only creation, born solely of my imagination and doing, I give you a detailed shot of my index finger:

This baby is all mine and it may not look like much to you but I sure am bursting out at the seams ;)
You see, I am not and never have been a great artist at either drawing nor painting.
So, for me to be able to use a brush to imprint such details as you can see in the collar of the uniform or on the shoulders is a matter of great pride to me!
I am doing my best to get better and better at using the nail art brushes and it's paying off!! :D

Or at least I think it is - if you think I'm sounding too cocky, you can tell me off in the comments.
If however you agree I'm getting better at the whole nail art thing, do send me your love: it is much appreciated :)

Also, write below which you think was my favourite and my least favourite subject - I think it's obvious, but I leave it to you ;)

And don't forget to check everyone else's manis on today's theme :D

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
