If you've seen my last couple blogs you know my beloved and trusting OPI Alpine Snow is now a goner.
Naturally I had to replace it (OPI tends to be somewhat expensive *cof cof*), so I went with a brand I've been loving a lotlately: BellaOggi.
And it happened to coincide with today's Úsalo Ya! :D
It couldn't have been better - check it out:
Pretty or what? :)
I'd love to be able to say it's a one coater, but am afaid it is not - nevertheless it does apply smoothly and a second coat will be enough for an even finished look.
That's the same deal OPI and my nails had, so I'm more than happy with this baby <3
In case you'd like to give it a go, too, it's BellaOggi No.7, also known as Snow White.
As for the nail art, I'd seen this mani a couple days ago, from Art X Nail, and wanted to give it a try, with a couple twists to it.
Here's what came out of it ;)
You knew I wouldn't be able to leave my lil' aliens pure black and white, as the original, right?
;)
And instead of aztec like nails to match, I did their flying saucer instead - hahahaha :D
All the designs were done with acrylics.
I left but one nail with a black and hite feeling, as to honor the original and then used pink, blue and yellow acrylic paints for the rest of the lil' crew ;)
Hope you liked this one - let me know in the comment section below - and check everyone else's look for today's Úsalo Ya! :D
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
Wow, that new Alpine Snow seems like the perfect replacement for OPI's! It's flawless! And your little aliens made me smile, they're so cute and fun! ^^
ReplyDeleteIt's such a good feeling when one finds a good white polish! :D
DeleteThank you for your comment, sweetie - happy my lil' aliens could make you smile ;)
Now that what I called a WHITE POLISH!!! and cute mani (:
ReplyDeleteIndeed! :)
DeleteThank you so much, darling!
beautiful design :)
ReplyDeletethank you, maRyya! **
DeleteThis is definitely a true white!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a perfect white polish! But since you have pretty long nails, do you think it could be a one coater for shorter nails? Or was it slightly sheer?
ReplyDeleteActually, you might be right - on short nails, this baby would look awesome in just one coat (it's not sheer at all!)
DeleteMy pinkie, for instance, didn't need a second coat at all ;)
This is so funny!! Such cute aliens!)) And the space ship is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOhh.. and thanks for the new blog to follow :)
DeleteYou are very welcome! :D
DeleteThank you for such incredible comments in every single post <3

ReplyDeletemuchas gracias, Chiky!! :)
DeleteOh my :) These little aliens are adorable :) I am loving your thumb the MOST!!! You put so much work into it and it paid off <3 Love, love, love! And the white nail polish is gorgeous!! I am also in a search of a good white polish. It's harder to find it than people would think! I heard good things about Sally Hansen, so I might give it a go :)
ReplyDeleteI knooooowwwww! That spaceship took all my patience but I think it was worth it indeed! :D
DeleteAnd definitely try a Sally Hansen at least once - great coverage & fast drying process (I just can't assess durability because well... we all know polish doesn't last long on my nails ;))
What a lovely creme white! Love what you did for the manicure! So fun :)
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mandarinalia! :D
DeleteI love them!
