My Cinderella Hand

... is my right hand. Why? Because, as a non-ambidextrous that I am I can't possibly freehand on my right hand as I do on my left ;)

However, there are a couple of nail art techniques that don't require ambidexterity and in those cases both my hands actually match! haha

I admire those capable of having both hands look alike with nail art and deep in my nail freak heart I kind of (healthily) envy them - one day I'll be just like them :D

Meanwhile, I can only count on non-freehand designs to make it work for both hands :)
Today's mani was inspired by a t-shirt slash pullover sort of thing, that I saw in one of the episodes of «The Carrie Diaries». You can have a look at it here.

Now, before your mouth opens in awe, don't ask me why I watched it, I just did. Nevermind it being good or bad, it is what it is and some of the outfits are pretty fun & fab, plus, hey!, they inspired me, so that's a good thing :D

And now, I'll keep my mouth shut and let you feast on my pretty Cinderela Hand :)

What do you think?
Does it make the outfit justice? :)
I know the lines are not as crisp and some of them are even wonky and all but I guess it adds charm to the look rather than take it ;)

Here's the full look - I thought the stripes reminded me so much of the whole navy look, I had to go with an anchor on my thumb.
That and the fact that I was tired of cutting strips of tape made my thumb the way you're seeing it ;)
It was done using Inglot 223 (I can't seem to get enough of this golden polish ;))

Take a closer look at my thumb though:

Yep, broke a nail! Bummer! :(
Oh tears, oh sadness, oh tragedy of all tragedies!
*sighs*
Of course I'll end up trimming all the nails to look like this baby nub but for this look's sake, I took pictures first ;)

I'm forgeting about technicalities but here they are:
I started with a white base using Perfect Lady No.22.
I then added strips of tape to each nail (each of them took 8/9 strips - you can actually count them on the design - ufff!) and covered all nails in Essence Nail Art Twins Chuck - a gorgeous blue shade with an enormous cover power and NO staining! :D
The dots were then added with my new green favourite Nail Rock Neptune.

And just because I want you to see what gorgeous summery weather we have on today, here's a photo taken in the bright sun light:

Bam! See what happens to my skin?
It gets yellowy and orange like and it just plain looks jaundice to me - blergh!
hehehe - aren't we all freaks? :D

Sorry for the photo spam, but Cinderela Hand is rarely featured and she deserved it today :)
What do you think of this look? Would you rock it?
Let me know down in the comments below and go chase that perfect Saturday afternoon!

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

It's actually a series based on Carry Bradshaw from SATC, as she was a teenager - it's teen series all the way, but with some really cool outfits! :D
