Inspiration IS Everywhere

I know this might strike you as one of those sentences people like to throw into the air, but I'm learning it really isn't.

 You just have to change the way you look at things and change your perception of it, adapting it to whatever arty stuff you like or plan to do :)

 I was a bit out of ideas for today's manicure and was browsing blogs, surfing the net, facebooking (yeah, it's a verb ;)) and I came upon this picture here

And I got inspired to do my mani, which turned into this:



You can see I adapted it to my nails and to my choice of colours ;)
That's what you do, right?




I started with a soft lilac base, using Purple Professional No.49, which is my alternative and go-to background colour whenever I feel I'm wearing white too much and I grow tired of it ;)




Then out came my neon stripers, Golden Rose Nail Art No.103 for the pink marks and Golden Rose Nail Art No.116 for the blue ones.
It really doesn't get any simpler: you just draw tiny stripes in opposite directions and make little segments along your nails - I just followed the image I found for inspiration, really :)




Simple and not too bright but yet still sunshiny and happy!
My kind of manicure! :D

      hahaha - vendo bem até que percebo o teu reparo. Mas acredita é um lilás bastante cremoso ;) Se calhar como é mais esbranquiçado do que lilás, em contraste com o neon fique assim - lol

    Good old neon stripers :D I really need to find a good fine line brush all of mine are a too little heavy handed to create this.

      I got them - I got obssessed hahaha
      I think I got lucky though, 'cause these Golden Rose were sooooo cheap (sth like 1€ something each) and they're just fabulous! Great formula, awesome thin brush! Love them! :D

    Ohhh I really like how you recreated this design and just used a different canvas (your nails). absolutely love it :) when I lack inspiration I usually go on Pinterest. or just searching for some patterns :) great job Mina!
