I Still Got The Blues For You...

... Weekend my love, Monday has come once more and has taken you away from my arms! *sniffles*

Haha - pardon the silly open moment, but the truth is, coincidence or not, I ended up wearing yet another blue manicure this Monday ;)

I wanted to try and recreate a cute mani I'd seen at Polished Elegance and which you can have a look at here and so I did :))

Here are the polishes I've used for today's mani:
Kiko No.340
Coral No.101
Kiko No.328
Light Blue Rhinestones

And voilà! here's the result! :)
I started with two layers of Coral No.101 on all of my nails, which is a smooth metallic light blue, very easy to apply and with hardly any noticeable brush strokes for show ;)

I then added the rhinestones on my index finger - don't ask me why, but I didn't want just the one accent nail and ended up with a funny - not in a good way - index but... oh well ;)

Last, but not least, I dotted my ring finger, first using grey and then using a light blue.
All I had to do for this 3D look, was place the light blue dots on top of the grey ones, leaving but a small thin piece showing :)
If you check Polished Elegance's post here, you'll understand what I mean - she does a way better job explaining it than I do ;)

And that's it - hope you've enjoyed today's nail fun: simple, easy to accomplish and with an amazing effect!
Let me know if you're thinking about trying it yourselves and share your manis with me - it'd be super to check them out! :D

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
