The Digit-al Dozen does New & Improved, Day 3: Elegant Patchwork Stamping Nails

Hello gorgeous people!
We're back for Day 3 of this month's Digital Dozen theme: New & Improved.

And what better opportunity than to redeem myself from the lame patchwork nails I did HERE a month ago?
Let's have a look then:

Elegant Patchwork Stamping Nails

Look at these! I'm so, so proud!!
Of course, they're not your normal patchwork look, they're rather on the fancier side.

Elegant Patchwork Stamping Nails

I did these using the decal method, I started by painting squares of different colours in my silicone mat.

I then stamped a different pattern on each and cut them to different shaped pieces.

Then all I had to do was place each tiny piece on my nails in whichever order/pattern I wanted.

These are so much more than what I envisioned - they look so cool.
Which, btw, reminds me to ask you: how long do you think it took me to finish these? Drop your guess in the comments below ;)

  13. My goodness these are awesome! My brain is melting slightly as I'm trying to imagine how you did this. It would probably take me all day to get something like this together, so I'm guessing you might be a bit quicker having had some practice. Shall we say 4 hours with a break in the middle for lunch? :)
