We're back for Day 3 of this month's Digital Dozen theme: New & Improved.
And what better opportunity than to redeem myself from the lame patchwork nails I did HERE a month ago?
Let's have a look then:
Look at these! I'm so, so proud!!
Of course, they're not your normal patchwork look, they're rather on the fancier side.
I did these using the decal method, I started by painting squares of different colours in my silicone mat.
I then stamped a different pattern on each and cut them to different shaped pieces.
Then all I had to do was place each tiny piece on my nails in whichever order/pattern I wanted.
These are so much more than what I envisioned - they look so cool.
Which, btw, reminds me to ask you: how long do you think it took me to finish these? Drop your guess in the comments below ;)
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

ReplyDeleteOoh what a fun idea for nail art! I think you did a lovely job! The colors you used are heavenly :)
ReplyDeleteI love the eclectic mix of colors and patterns!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! These are stunning Mina!!! I'm gonna guess it took you 2 hours to do these. They seem like they took a ton of work and detailing even using the decal method. Beautiful mani :)
ReplyDeleteI am pinning this right now! You should be so proud Mina, these are amazing! I love the choice of colors and patterns. I am guessing four hours because it would probably take me that long.

ReplyDeleteMy guess is 4 hours. I've done this to a lesser degree and it took 3ish!

ReplyDeleteWOOOOOWWW these are awesome!! What a brilliant idea for patchwork, I am going to have to give this a try when the weather cools down. I couldn't even guess how long they would take, I'm yet to try making decals :o
ReplyDeleteYou should be proud, because these are FABULOUS ones. I have never seen such fantastic patchwork nail art!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness these are awesome! My brain is melting slightly as I'm trying to imagine how you did this. It would probably take me all day to get something like this together, so I'm guessing you might be a bit quicker having had some practice. Shall we say 4 hours with a break in the middle for lunch? :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous and UTTERLY GENIUS! I need to do something similar immediately. I'm in love. I thought your mani from the other day was my favorite ever but I think this one is! Amazing job!
ReplyDeleteGenius indeed! I never would have thought of that!
ReplyDeleteOh this is beautiful. I'll bet it took you about an hour to do this from start to final top coat. I love the colors in this so much.
