Purple Professional Party Time - Beach Superstar Collection: Swatch & Review

Today's post was a bit of a nightmare - not because of the super amazing polish I was offered to review, but because editing photos was such a mission impossible!

Purple Professional has recently launched their Beach Superstar Collection and the colours are to die for - top level vibrant neons, clearly a beachy look (ladies, get your tan look ready!).

But you know how neons can be when it comes to photographing, right?
For this reason, there were only two photos that I was happy enough with to show them to you. They're still not the best colour accurate but I hope you feel and understand the struggle of yours truly:

Purple Professional Party Time

Let me present you with Purple Professional Party Time - a cutie of a pink neon. Not as magenta as the picture is showing it, this is more of an intense, unicorn land kind of neon pink, if you know what I mean.
As for the application itself, I couldn't be any more thrilled. This baby applies smoothly in one easy coat and there's no need to paint your nails white - the colour shows in all its brightness and eye-blindedness on its own, trust me.

Purple Professional Party Time

I didn't want an overpowering look over this gorgeous beauty, so I decided on a simple double stamping, French style, on the tips of each nail.
I used the BP-19 stamping plate from Born Pretty Store.

Available HERE.

What do you feel about neons and their walk of fame? Do you also struggle to properly capture them on camera?
Hope you liked this one nonetheless, lovelies.

  1. I love the effect of the double stamping, it's almost like an optical illusion! I also unashamedly love super bright barbie pinks <3 I always struggle with neons, not so much capturing them but my skin always goes a weird colour on camera :(

  4. Oh my! what a striking beauty! I love neon colours, of course they are hard to photograph! but they are better handled by a reflex camera tha by a totally digital one. I'm not a expert, but I've been told this is because of the way the digital camera "divides" the light and saturation... well, I don't really understand it but the guy who explained me was an expert, so I believed him :P
