Let's Go Crazy!

You know striping tape is capable of many wonders, when it comes to nail art. The crisp line, the neat look, it's just so magical.

You also know, 'cause you've been with me a while, that I dread the thing - it's time consuming, annoying and utterly capricious.

That being said, here's today's nails:

Yes, perfectly consistent, I know ;)

After yesterday's nails, I just couldn't resist doing another one and with striping tape you have to go with the I'm-feeling-it flow or else... ;)

Just for you to see how much of a good day I was having in terms of patience, check the behind the scenes photo here.

I started by painting my nails two coats of Kiko Mint (No.526) and then applying Kiko Plum Red (No.243) over the striping tape.

I then finished it all by adding a couple gold studs in each nail - love it!

Which proves me wrong about hating striping tape - some things are worth the trouble ;)
Do you agree?

What nail art technique is your nightmare? Do you try to go against your instincts and still use it on your nails? ;)
