Mani Swap With Nails By Priya

Helloooooo!
Today brings you aAnother mani swap, this time with lovely Priya, from Nails By Priya, who has amazing, jaw dropping nail designs, filled with realistic detail. Check get out and give her some love.

I recreated her beautiful peacock under the flower tree design, but clearly there's no comparison ;)
She's just too good - just look at her stunning take on my roses!
Wow ❤

Although not as perfect as the original one, by Priya, I'm incredibly proud to have completed it and nailed it even if not entirely :)
That, and my peacock's head not looking weird, make me happy!! ;)

I started this with one coat of Kiko Light Blue (No.340) - bright, right? ;)

I started by making the tree trunks and branches with black acrylic paint and painting the flowers on top of those, first using white acrylic paint and then some light pink and red.
But will you just look at Priya's flowers? So perfect!!! Damn, girl! ;)

The peacock was the challenging bit and this design really taught me the whole 'outline your design and alternate between nails while the rest dries'. This was hard and I had to keep at it and not give up, until finished!
There were moments when I felt like erasing it all and starting over again. That's when you need to focus and say to yourself: 'Not finished yet, top coat will make miracles happen!'
hahaha

Although not a saviour every time, most of the times you'll see that's true though.
Never throw in the towel in the middle of a design. 'Cause it might just be it doesn't look half as bad as you're making it.
Another 'life lesson' nail art has taught me ;)

Let me know what you think of my attempt at Mr. Peacock and check Nails by Priya - you can thank me later :)

Hugs & Kissies,

Both designs are unexpected, but the peacock is something special.
