I did post on FB my Friday Virgin Polish but as I did the nail art design after getting home from work (and because it took me ages to finish it), by the time I wanted to photograph it... there wasn't any sunlight left ;(
So, I'm posting it today and that's OK (say I to my perfectionist self).
First things first and for those of you who don't follow me on FB (shame on you! :p), here's a snapshot of the day's virgin polish:
This baby is made in Portugal (yey!) and the very first time I tried this brand...well... we didn't make it to best friends ;)
The polish was too thin, too translucent, too slow to dry and it took 3/4 coats to an even look :/

I think that's why it took me so long to try this one - altough Pri told me they'd bettered their formula, I was still a non-believer.
So, I gotta thank Silvia for this 'challenge', 'cause I finally picked this cutie up and this is the result of two effortless coats - YEPEE! :D
I went for my acrylics and bunny rabbits!
I got the acrylics recently and really want to master the whole using them in my manis, so they'll be around for a while - hope you don't mind.
But then... I also got something else for the first time ;)
Check it out:
Fimo slices! Bow shaped! How cute are they? :)
So, I made two cute lady bunny rabbits...
And a charming gentleman bunny rabbit to go with them.
Look at him saying 'Hi, ladies!' ;)
As for my acrylic experience so far, all I can say is I need to buy a thicker brush.
Let's just say I didn't plan ahead and only got thin brushes, which, let's face it, are quite a drag to fill in shapes.
I didn't get the smoothest result because the filling got quite some brush strokes and it took me a while to make them as neat as possible.
Still I had fun trying to make these look the best possible and I must confess that although holding a brush is something new to me and absolutely different from holding a pen...
I'm enjoying every bit of it <3
Hope you liked these and make sure you check out the links below for some pretty virgin polishes :D
