POLISHER'S INC. - Neon'tastic!

Is there any other word that goes as well with neon as fantastic?

Well... you could also add awesome, brilliant and fabulous ;) hehehe
I'm glad today's time for another Polisher's Inc. challenge because who doesn't love rocking some neon nails for Summer? :)

First things first - if you want a neon design to pop like crazy you've got to start by painting your nails white - you'll be needing a canvas, after all, right? :)

I tried this baby today specially for the neon theme and I gotta say it stood up to the challenge :)
The first coat may fool you into thinking this will never be opaque enough, but that second coat eases all your worries and makes for a flawless finish! :)

This is Flormar Quickdry Snow White.
And the only bad thing about it is: it does not dry in 60 seconds.
I applied thin layers but still they took around 5/6min to dry. Which, mind you, it's not too bad a timing, but it's not the same as 60seconds either, right? ;)

Anyway... onto our neon'tastic design now :)

I'm not sure these are neon enough but I sure do love them! :)

I started by applying random brush strokes of neon polishes (won't mention them all - they'd make for a boring list ;)).
After they dried, I picked up my nail art brush and some acrylic paint and drew what I'll call tropical flowers, just 'cause they're neon and all that ;)

I couldn't resist adding some neon studs, just because, you know, one must ;)

I loved rocking these all day long! They're such happy nails!
Vibrant and colourful - totally my style :))

I hope you've liked them just as much! Don't forget to check all the other lovely designs by the rest of the Polisher's Inc. team ;)

Hugs & Kissies,

  6. Another gorgeous mani from you. I thought at first this was a leadlight mani, but no, it's handpainted. I really love this design. This looks so artsy and I love the vibrant colors. Very very pretty.
