New Nail Shape!!

But only on my Cinderella Hand - if it wasn't weird enough that I'm always wearing different mani looks on my hands, now each has their own nail shape! hahaha

Now let's talk seriously, the thing is: I always try things on my right hand nails. They're the mother of all mani auditions!
I try out nail polish on them, nail designs, colour combos and now, apparently, nail shape, too ;)

Anyone out there also doing it like this, or am I the only weirdo here? Come out, come out, you know you do this, too :)

Anyway, and before showing off my new nail shape - the suspense must be killing you by now - can I just state that my nails have had this square (with rounded corners) shape for the past ten years?

Yep, apart from my index finger and my thumb, which were almond shaped, I've been a square-with-rounded-corners kind of girl.

And now, I've dared this:

Ahhhh! So excited!!
I want you all to tell me what you think! And be honest, like always! Does this suit me? Does it look good?
From my end, I feel soooo elegant with this nail shape! Does that sound silly? ;)

I couldn't resist wearing a brand new Limited Edition Catrice I just bought.

It's Catrice Never Green Before from the Haute Future Limited Edition.

And with such a mermaid-ish colour of course I had to go for an under the sea look.
Cute golden sea shells for everyone!!

And now it's your turn - what do you think? I wanna know it all! :)
Should I also go for it on my left dominant hand? Yes? No?
Let me know!

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

  3. If they make you feel elegant, then that's the whole point of you keeping them! :)
I think your nails look stunning either way. For me personal I like the square cut, so I'd always go for that - because that's what makes ME feel good. So yes - keep them! They are very pretty on you :)

And ps, love the mani as well :D

    1. Charlotte! Loved you being honest - I know what you're saying: I've kept the square shape for 10years and really love how it looks on my hands! hehehe
I just felt like a change and nails are like hair - they grow and we can go back anytime, so we'll see if I keep liking this shape on my nails ;)

  4. I think the new shape is beautiful! In my opinion it fits your fingers better, but I've never been too fond of the square, but hour rounded ones were nice. I'd say go for it! The colour with the sea shells is wonderfully mermaidy.

  5. I don't think you could have chosen a more beautiful polish to show with your newly-shaped pretty nails. Your shape and the polish together are so elegant.
Besides the various polishes we can use, isn't it wonderful that we can also choose the shape of our nails! And change it at will (mostly). The wonders of the nail polishing world.
LOL at your hands and having different polishes on them!
And *squeee* - I love that first mani. The very subtle gradient is exquisite. And the discerning use of the glitter, to where it truly accents without overwhelming such a delicate gradient - brilliant!

And I'm loving gradients with glitters more and more each time - glad you liked it, too ;)

  6. It's so weird to see the second shape :-). I got used to the square one :-)
I personally like the old shape better, but it's worth giving a try to the round nails. It's important that YOU feel good with the new shape!

I also love the square shape (I kept it for 10years after all hehehe) but sometimes a change is good - let's see how I feel about it in a couple of days ;)
