Also, I noted that my last post the Mina's Simple Manis Series had been almost over two months ago.
With that in mind, this is what I did on my nails:
Abstract can be a good way to go if you do it simple, as I've done here.
The watercolour effect is very forgiving and that way your lines don't need to be 100% sharp.
The design actually looks better if they're not, so it's perfect :)
All you need is a good white nail polish to serve as base, although I think this would look as good in soft pastel yellow or even a nude tanned shade.
After your two coats dry completely (best to wait a full 20min for that), you take some nail polishes or acrylic paints (which I find a lot easier to work with) and apply the watercolour method when drawing your squares and rectangles.
You can even do rectangles and squares inside the first ones you drew.
Try to mix different colours together - I'd love to see how this design would look in bright, vivid colours ;)
In the end I applied a rounded golden stud in between each square/rectangle to make the design stand out more.
And that's it! Nice and simple. Without the waiting time, this one took me no more than 15min to do and it's something you can easily make on both your hands :)
What do you think? Does it seem simple enough? ;)
