My REAL New Year's Eve NOTD!

I know I should've shown you this one yesterday, but I hope you'll agree with me when I say January 1st is official lazy slash moochi-moochi day ;)

So, forgive me for posting this one today only and I hope you'll like the design enough to compensate for it ;)

I wore a colour which you'll find unusual on my nails, but you have to admit it looks oh so pretty on them!!
*.*

This is Dermacélsia No.74, a gorgeous (and quite shiny)  mustard-y shade.
Not the kind I'd go for, but I couldn't be happier I took it from the shelf and brought it home with me. Because it made this lil' design possible:

I know you might think this is not blingy enough for New Year's Eve but read on and you'll understand my choice.
(Brace yourselves - moochi words ahead)

I went for hearts. Not simple hearts, but mosaic ones.
Why? 'Cause it's what I'm wishing myself and every one of you: full hearts.

Hearts composed of sections: one for love, one for happiness, one for friendships (old and new), one for self-fulfillment, one for accomplishment, one for a job you might like (or that might help you pay bills), one for family moments, one for dreams you have yet to go for, one for sheer joy, one for every single thing that makes you a better, wiser person.
(I did warn you ;))

The dotticure frame (which has a glittery base underneath if you look closely) is to remind myself of two things:
1) it's good to have a frame in live - it keeps you balanced and organised
but
2) it doesn't have to restrain you - hence the dotticure - you can still have room to be wild and free once and a while: that's what creativity is for ;)

Overall, I felt really empowered having these on my nails when the clock stroke midnight.
I am absolutely sure 2014 will be a year of great things!
BE certain of it! <3

Hugs & Kissies,
