Úsalo Ya - No.1

... is the motto to this new weekly challenge I decided to embark on :))
*excited*

It was all Silvia's idea - I'm sure you know her blog, Toxic Vanity - and I gotta say it's a damn good one at that! :D

For those of you not comfortable with Spanish, the idea around this 'challenge' is to post, every Friday, either a swatch or a mani (or both if you feel like going crazy), using a virgin polish from your stash (one you haven't yet used on your nails or posted on your blog).

I decided I'd do both, so here we go! :)

A litte story about this baby. Although it's my first time wearing it, I actually bought it last Summer.
*excuse me?!*
Yep, true story. And I bought it from a pseudo-polish stand (FAKE!). This polish is from Essence's September/October 2011 limited edition!!
I mean! The lady was selling one-year-old polishes announcing them as new!

Of course back then I knew nothing about the polish world, except that I liked painting my nails :)
*ah! so young and innocent!*
And I had no other polish like his one - I had a couple reds and pinks, even some blues but no nude, grey-ish shades. So, I brought Skyscraper home with me.
Just... never actually got to wear it. Oh, well! Guess that's solved now ;)

And now, onto the manicure I did with it.
Some weeks ago I'd seen Nailed It Camo Nails and thought they were lovely <3
As this shades fit the purpose perfectly, camo nails it was! :D

Can I just say I L-O-V-E them?!
Not to brag or anything but I think they're the cutest camo can ever be!

I'm not a camo person and I wouldn't say my nails depict the pattern perfectly - they're like a mix-match of a desert camo pattern and an animal print! haha
But that bow there... it just wakes up the freaky girly girl in me ;)

I mean, it shares the same pattern! Could I ask for anything more?!
It's perfect! <3

I bought an assortment of these cute bows, so expect them to make more appearances in the next couple manis ;)

And just as a bonus, because we want to start «Úsalo Ya» in a kick-ass way...

CH makes another appearance! :D
This time she's using Kiko Sugar Mat True Red (632), my newest purchase!
You know sales season is the one responsible, right? I've been a good girl and have been buying zero polish bottles...
*cof cof*

ANYWAY.... hope you enjoyed this idea - I'll be showing you many more of my 'virgin polishes' every Friday.
Check out who else is participating down below and join us if you like - you can read all about it in Silvia's post here

Come back later for my last post on the Black & White Challenge! *snifs*
And, meanwhile, have yourself a kick-ass Friday, will ya? ;)

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
