It's Black! It's White! - Day 5

... Animal Theme... right...

Let me tell you a lil' something about me - I loooooove kitty kats! I am a very proud owner of three lovely, most wonderful and the awesomest in all the wide world cats. 

They're Júlio César, Olívia Pynipon and Hermes Tander and I love them to bits!

Now, that being said, what do you think I did on my nails for today's theme? ;)

But not just cats! See, I'd just bought my very first set of feathers and I couldn't help but think about Silvester and his endless journey to get the silly yellow bird ;)

So... here's what the mani I prepared looks like:

First black & white photo in the blog! Thought it'd look good ;)

In love with my feathery thumb! Do you fancy these nail accessories or not your thing? 

And now, for some colourrrr! I did my pinkie feathery like, too, and then I drew three cats, to honour my sweet munchkins! <3

Of course these are not my own creation - I had to use a tutorial as guide, for I am (and you know it)  not a very arty person. 

Anyway, long story short, I inspired myself in this tutorial here (love the soundtrack! :)) and you can tell she's a lot more talented than I am!

Why? Well... I didn't use a brush for these babies - I used my Staedtler Permanent black marker. A bit of a cheat, I know, but... one must do with what one has.

Truth is, now that I finally (FINALLY!) got me some nail art brushes, I haven't got my acrylic paints yet and let's just say the black polish wasn't just cutting it for me ;(

I'm still really proud with how they came out and I love this mani to bits :D
