And it ended up looking a bit... I don't know... out of this world - muhahaha ;)
The polishes are from MIYO, which stands for My Identity Youthfully Original (say wha'?? - silly name, I know) and they promise excellent shine and great colours! Well, after experimenting them, I can say I'm totally sold! :)
This is Mars (No.35) a gorgeous night/electric blue with purple hues (or the other way around, I can't really tell) and a most gorgeous green shimmery to it!
Sorry for the poor description but... just look at the bottle - it screams gorgeous! :))
Can you see the green shimmer, can you?
I find these beautiful polishes to be a pain to photograph though, what with my few experience and all, but I think you can see its potencial :)

Like I said, there were two polishes I wanted to try at once and this is the other one, the most perfect bubblegum pink! Cocktail (No.18) is more on the creme finish side than Mars, with its metallic shine and all.
I started off with two coats of Mars, which made for a more than perfect finish.
And once that dried out, I applied two stripes of tape alongside each nail to creat a nice clean middle lane effect, using Cocktail.
It made for a really bold mani, with such contrasting colours and finishes, and if you were around today, you migt have caught me staring at my nails more than a few times ;)
What struck me the awesomest was the fact that with two coats only I was able to make such a delicate baby pink polish like Cocktail stand out even when applied over such a dark strong colour as Mars.
Overall, this is a huge thumbs up from me! MIYO you've got my love - haha :)
How about you - do you like these two polishes?
What about the manicure I came up with? Have you tried a similar looks before?
Do share your thoughts and experiences with me down below and think... it's almost the weekend! :D
