My Very Own Blog Auditions!

... because I'm the demanding type! haha

Just kidding! I didn't have to audition for my own blog, but something did happen that triggered me into starting it.

And that was just the most amazing coincidence of all times! ;)
I have a couple of blogs I am loyal to and that I do check out every day, pretty much like we all nail freaks do :) and the day I bought a new polish, one of my favourite bloggers posted a mani using that very same polish. 

Of course I thought - that's it! Can't postpone it anymore - it is written in the stars! :)

I'm sure you've heard of Amy Grace from The Polished Perfectionist, known for really beautiful, sharp and elegant looking manis ;)

So... and because this short story is already going long, what happened was, she posted this awesome design the same day I bought Ludurana's polish, Admirável!
And I knew then that I had to give it a go at recreating it!

And why am I telling you all this today? Because today is this blog's one-month anniversary and I thought you'd like to know how it all started! ;)

Also, it came to my mind I should do this every month's anniversary - recreate a design from one of the many nail bloggers I admire :)

So that's how it is going to be from now on!! And if you have any suggestions, let me know down below, please! :)

And now (FINALLY!) for the photos of my recreation! 
(Don't crucify me! I hadn't even learnt how to photograph with macro mode! haha)

I couldn't use Orly's Enchanted Forest like Amy Grace did, because I don't own it, so I had to go with Essence's A Walk In The Park instead.

I then freehanded the beetles wings, so it's not as perfect as could be and certainly not as neat as Amy Grace's but... I was happy I could manage it all the same! :D
