I'm bringing you today my last two gradient nails for the Digit-al Dozen's April challenge in two separate posts.
I've been on a busy fun life since Friday, hence the late posts, sorry!
But let's get down to it:
I'm somewhat disappointed in these, as they weren't what I'd pictured in my mind when brainstorming ideas.
First of all, I wanted to make a vertical gradient this time.
Somehow, however, my brain stopped telling my body what to do and a horizontal gradient came out instead.
It's not ugly, that's not what I mean, it's just not what I had in mind.
The stamping also came out a bit...meh.
I chose Hēhē plate Super Hero 003 but I didn't manage a cohesive application and all you get is incomplete designs.
Overall not a success but... at least the gradient skittle look is pretty :)
Hugs & Kissies,

Um, I'd say it's still a success! It's super cute and fun and reminds me of something cheery and childlike and whimsical :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun gradient skittle this turned out to be.
ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful! I don't know what you're talking about because they actually look so good together and I would say they are cohesive! Plus, this manicure makes me happy. Vibrant colours do that to me!
ReplyDeleteSuch bright and fun colours Mina! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the stamping and also love the colours you chose! It reminds me of a child's bedroom decor for some reason - bright and playful :)
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling when it doesn't turn out like you envisioned. Of course these are by no means a fail, they look great!
ReplyDeleteUgh, my brain and body are often not connected well. The other day I put ketchup on my pancake! The colors are so beautiful and the gradient looks really good!
ReplyDeleteI've done the same thing myself...wanted to do a vertical gradient but ended up with a horizontal one. I'm so glad it's not just me! This is SO bright and happy it's impossible not to smile when looking at it! :D
