Mandala Nail Art with CF Beauty Cosmetics - Swatch & Review

I got to know CF Beauty Cosmetics last month, when Cláudia, the brand's creator, contacted me to swatch and review some of the 2015 Spring/Summer edition polishes.

If you want to see what other shades I've swatched already click HERE

I specially liked that the polishes were 4-Free and the brush size was awesome for a mini.

Cláudia was kind enough to send me the rest of the shades in the collection (it feels great to see your work appreciated - thank you, Cláudia) and I'll be swatching them throughout this week, with matching nail art, so stay tuned ;)

I'm starting the week with CF Beauty Cosmetics Nº7 Golden Sands:

CF Cosmetics Nº7 Golden Sands

Golden Sands is a lovely pearly/shimmery polish.
If it weren't for such a finish, it could easily pass off as a nude shade.
It's quite on the sheer side for me, so I applied three coats so I wouldn't have a nail line showing.
You can, however, wear it lightly on your nails, if you want nothing but a slight shine to them.
There were hardly any brush strokes visibly, but I do advise using a top coat in the end for maximum shine.

Mandala Nails

The nail art was inspired by both the polishe's name and what I've been doing lately in my spare time.
If you wanna know what that is, you'll have to click HERE :)
Let me know if you're hooked in something similar in the comments below.

Mandala Nails

I freehanded the mandalas and used acrylic paint for each design - I specially like how I didn't go with black for the outlines, 'cause the green looks and feel so much better :)

Let me know down in the comments if this is your sort of shade and finish for your favourite nail polish, and, of course, tell me if you're into colourful mandala designs.

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

  1. That shade is gorgeous and so is your nail art! I always hear about adult coloring books but I've never tried it myself.. It must be a very relaxing hobby!

  2. I didn't know they made colouring books for adults until recently, but then a Bored Panda post about "Doodle Invasion: Zifflin's Coloring Book" sent me down a wonderful Amazon colouring-book spiral.

I loved: Balance (Angie's Extreme Stress Menders Volume 1), Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book, Flower Designs by Janean Morrison and Creative Haven Mehndi Designs. Hopefully I'll get my hands on some of them :D .
