Mani Swap With @judyrox

First of all, I apologize for the little hiatus I had going on - kitty kat baby girl had to be neutered and for the weekend I played the cat nurse, attending to her Highness every need of cuddles and other purring provoking techniques ;)

I think we're heading for some great posts, though - I've got some awesome things going on and inspiration has, luckily, been showering me with great ideas.

The first to hit the blog is a lovely mani swap I did with not only quite a talente lady, but one I found to be the genuinely sweetest!
Judit, aka @judyrox, has beautiful and intricate designs, and I love her tribal/aztec/geometric manis - she has an insane steady hand and her straight lines are unbelievable!!

All this together made this mani swap work beautifully and I'm actually proud my line didn't fail me and I managed not to butcher her lovely design ;)

She chose to recreate my watermelon cupcakes and look how even cuter she managed to make them look ;)
They're spot on and her freehand lines - do you see them? - aren't hey perfect?

I went with her New Year's black & red tribal/aztec look, just because I've loved it since she posted it and had it on my mind to recreate it at one point ;)

They may look simple, but would you believe it if I told you I had to redo them a second time?
That red bit, specially turned out to be harder than I thought hahah

I've used Inocos 0% Efeitos Preto and Dermacélsia Eternal.
I did the rest using acrylic paints, which are a lot easier to work with than nail polish and I always take all the help I can get ;)

If I may say so, I'm quite pleased with how I succeeded in this one. My take on this beautiful design may not be perfect, but it sure looks good.
And I felt so elegant and awesome and grown up wearing this on my nails - hehe - I didn't even stop to stare at the not so even lines ;)

I hope you didn't miss me terribly and that you liked these ones - if you've got an Instagram account, make sure you send some love to @judyrox, her talent is always great to look upon :)

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
