More than anything I'm loving how I'm getting slightly more 'experienced' at swatching even if sometimes photographing said swatches becomes increasingly frustrating.
Today, I've got three shades from Leticia Well Long Lasting collection, which are said to last long, apply in one coat and dry superhumanly fast.
Let's get the show going then:
Starting with the hardest colour to capture more accurately.
This is Leticia Well No.125
It's actually more vibrant in real life although not quite neon.
I don't think it suits my skin tone beautifully (in photos anyway) because it's a bit too orangey.
But it applied evenly in two even coats - not too thick nor too thin a formula - you can work with it ok.
Drying time was pretty fast: 10min and you're good to scratch with your nails if you want ;)
Leticia Well No.129
Middle Name: Gorgeous!
Now, you might say I got a similar shade not so long ago (see here), but this was too gorgeous to be left in the store.
Plus, you can never have too many cute blue polishes :D
The formula to this one was not my favourite of the three, though - it's a bit on the thick side and you have to be careful not too do what I call uggly layering.
In comparison, however, you can totally get away with just one coat :)
Leticia Well No.130
I guess I'm into blues, what can I do? ;)
However beautiful, the application to this one is absolutely appalling.
I kept seeing bubbles when I was applying it, and I had to smooth it down with my brush over and over.
Luckily, the formula to this one is quite streaky, so I didn't get any brush strokes showing in the end.
Other than that, it dries fast and will look even with two coats.
Oh! And you may want to pay attention to cuticle floading also - it will definitely give you a headache, this one will :/
Altogether, although I love all three shades, I'm overall disappointed in their quality.
Application was challenging in two out of three, which is the most annoying feature to me.
Other than that - great colours, really short drying period and lovely shine to each of them - none of the swatches have top coat on them (I choose to do it without top coat so people will know - not every soul out there even owns a top coat, much less use it - although they absolutely
s h o u l d!!).
Let me know what you think of these ones - have you tried this brand? What's your opinion on it?
If not, which was your favourite from these three? And would you be willing to give them a try despite my little review?
