31DC2013 - Day 23: Inspired by a Movie? Snatch!

I was completely clueless as to what I'd be doing in most of the 'inspired by' section of this challenge, but so far I've been lucky to have blissful inspiration moments ;)

BF and I were nice and cosy in the sofa, zapping away when we hit I don't remember what movie channel and Snatch was on! 

Now that's a movie I love, with quite a peculiar sense of humour, ingenious and dubious writing and some great bits of personality to the characters!

Anyway, I got inspired and after some looking into it, I ended up, choosing this and this as my main inspiration pics.

I wish I'd managed to do them more accurate and neat like but it was nearly 1a.m. last night when I got to start painting my nails, so, don't kill me ;)

See what I mean by not  neat and accurate?

Tired eyes, a nail art brush and acrylic paint make not for a good combo ;(

I gotta say it's not my  best but...

I thought a skitllete would be the best way of going for it.

So I did my ring finger in simple black with Purple Professional No.18.

And my middle finger sported the simple sign of Frankie Four Fingers and the lil' diamond on top, acting as hazardous substance ;)

I used Bellaoggi Snow White and Sunshine Yellow, with black acrylic paint.

On my index and pinkie finger, I started with three coats (!) of  Layla Mermaid Spell - don't you just hate when your holographic polish give you a patchy application?! Ishhh!

Then I took my thinnest nail art brush and more black acrylic paint to draw some diamonds.

I leave you with a photo taken in direct sunlight for some holo bits, although there aren't that many... Alas!
