31DC2013 - Day 22: Inspired by a Song? La Vie En Rose!

Now, I'm not going to pretend I know Edith Piaf's legacy but I do know this song :)

And after a crappy Friday and a depressing Saturday morning, it seemed the right choice to cheer up, specially after BF did his best to make sure I'd have a great Sunday! We went kayaking!!! Weeeee :D

So, Sugar Pie, this one's for you <3

I wanted a pink manicure but one with nuances, just like a relationship :)

*moochi moochi mood*

So, I went with the saran wrap technique - you've got bright patches, others more neutral, but all pretty and making for a perfect ensemble! ;)

I didn't want it to be plain, so I added some girly bits with a couple of pink bows with black polka dots.
Just because you sometimes have to spice up, try different things, imprint a detail or other into your relationship to make it stronger :)

I don't know if you can see all different four types of pink but I'll list them anyhow ;)

I love how simple this was and how pretty it came out - nice and girly and romantic just like «La Vie En Rose».

If you don't know French, do look for the translation - it's a beautifully written romantic song and definitely worth it :)

Hope you liked my simple interpretation but really sometimes less is more and I loved wearing this one today! <3
