Sorry everyone for today's post coming so late, but I was in a such a lazy mood... I got some me time and went for it, making it last the most! :D
For today's theme I went with something simple again - time issues are starting to freak me out!
With the seasons changing and a different work schedule, I end up stressing out over taking good photos, with good sunlight - bah!
Anyway, I present you today's watercolour half moons:
I tried watercolour for the first time! It's not nearly perfect, I know, but, if that serves as an excuse, I was over at BF's and didn't really have the chance to check a tutorial or two, so I had to go with what little info my brain had gathered somehow, from seeing everyone doing it ;)
I started with Kiko Jade Green (345) and topped it with Kiko Turquoise Microglitter (298) for a purrty shimmery effect :)
(Excuse my prune like skin but the weather is changing as well and when I left work, almost at 7p.m. the wind was chilly ... brrrr!)
Picking my paper reinforcements and cutting them in half, I placed them and went about adding one coat of Bellaoggi Snow White for a a base to the watercolour.
I went for red, yellow, lilac and mint green for the watercolour effect and although it's not a perfect, flawless one, I pretty much liked wearing these today :)
Hope you've also enjoyed it and sorry for the late post, lovelies!
Mina was enjoying herself some well deserved pampering and peace and quiet, with no electronic devices around <3
Do you also feel the need for such moments? Talk to me in the comments below and I'll see you tomorrow for a much awaited (on my part) galaxy design (YEY!!) :)
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
Interesting design.
ReplyDeleteYou did the same design as Spektor Nails. lol
Thank you, Anonymous! Great minds think alike, I guess!
DeleteAlthough I've got to say her watercolour is far, far better ;)
I'm not agree! I think your design is better than Judith's :) I like your color choice very much!! This looks so quiet :) after you relaxing time, I think :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Anastasia! You really warmed up my heart! :')
DeleteBeautiful manicure Mina :) Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, hun!! :D
DeleteSuch a beauty :) What I love the most is the punch of red which gives such a beautiful contrast :) Great job Mina! And you should not explain yourself for the late mani or any other reason. Sometimes, we just need a break and it's OK :)
ReplyDeleteYes!!! The red was indeed a good choice hehehe ;)
DeleteHappy you liked it, sweetie, and you're right, we sometimes do take this 'too seriously', don't we? ;) eheheh
