My First Time!

... with acrylics! I knew it had to be something awesome and worth while.

If you follow me on FB you know I finally got my hands on some really cool items for nail art <3

So... I decided it was time I tried one of my favourite things - a cartoon theme with a pop art twist :)

One of my favourite nail artist and youtubers is Professional DQ (she totally rocks! :)) and I've always loooooved this design of her. 

Let's just say it wasn't a though choice ;)

I know it's not perfect and not near as fabulous as Professional DQ's but I'm so proud of this mani! <3

I'm not really good at the whole explosion design yet but... practice makes perfect and that's what I intend to do! :D

I started with two coats of OPI Alpine Snow and taking my finest nail art brush and picking my blue, yellow and pink acrylics I did the different designs to this mani.

My favourite and hardest part was the outlining with the black acrylic - I really had to concentrate for this one! :D

The topcoat could have ruined the whole look ... BUT

I actually like the added bubbles! <3

And that's it! My first go with acrylics and I couldn't be any happier :D

Thank you Professional DQ for your ever lasting inspiration and hope you all liked this one! I'll surely be sad to see it go ;)
