And Day 2 brought me to a technique I have never completely
mastered: stamping.
First of all it's not like we can get a lot of Konad plates (which
are the best we can get here) in Lisbon - I only own a couple - and you know
how I feel about buying things off of the Internet.
And second of all I just can't seem to make the designs stamp
clearly enough on my nails. But this time…
This time... I sat at my polish work desk. I imbued myself with
tons of patience and started working on my nails for today's challenge.
And, lovelies, I must say... I totally won this challenge!
Muhahaha :)
Have a look for yourselves:
Know what I mean? The lines came out so crisp and neat and I'm
such a happy girl right now because of it!
I'm showing this one first, which is the first stage of the mani.
I then felt something was somehow lacking and...
Completed it this way!
Look at me, sporting proudly these nails! :)
As for details, this is OPI Alpine Snow as the base colour.
I then stamped using Konad Plate M54 and Purple
Professional No.18.
And by 'stamped' I mean over and over until my nails plates wore a
flowery pattern. I really did it! I conquered my impatient me over! Hurray! :D
Last but not least, I added a little lace thing (?) near my nail
beds, with the same black polish.
Why? Because it's pretty! :D
I must say compared to the first mani I did for this challenge,
this one I really, really like!
I think you can tell by the photo spam, right? ;)
And look! I even managed some decent photos: in this one I got
a bit of blurry fingers - muhahahah :)
I'm working on it, believe me!
So let me know what you think of these nails and make sure you
have a look on all of the other ladies' lovely designs :)
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

ReplyDeleteStamping is to us what kryptonite is to SuperMan - hahaha
DeleteAnd I also think you should do more stamping. Actually just a mani would be good - we're feeling lonely out here! ;)
I love this one! It's very elegant.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly! I even wore a floral black & white dress to match the mani! I felt like a real lady! hahaha :D
