TPC - Round 16: Suga', Ah Ah, Honey, Honey!

Last manicure for Tri-Polish Challenge this month!!
I can't say I'm sad to see these colours go, 'cause, to be honest, I was starting to run out of ideas ;)

For today's manicure, I went again for the spun sugar technique - you know me when I'm trying something new: I won't stop, till I get where I want ;)

So, I got tons of advice from so many lovely ladies yesterday that I got just the right amount of motivation. Not even my last fail could haunt my mood and I was running full-throtle, wanting to experiment it again!

I'm quite happy to announce it went a lot better this time! :)
I'm still not a pro at it but I think it's a great improvement from the last one ;)

Look at that!! What a difference! :)
You know the polishes by now, so I won't repeat myself - and you can ask me in the comment section anyway ;)

The thumb is, by far, my favourite!
Because it was always last in the row to get the strings on, by the time I got to it, the polish was really tacky and the strings were coming out real thin and in one piece :D
Just compare the thumb with the pinkie (the first one to be done) and you'll know what I mean.

And a closer look just for you!
I love how these feel to the touch - they do take some time drying, so you better have a good movie or your fave series prepared.
I don't advise books, as the whole page flipping may be way too dangerous hehe ;)

Check the other ladies designs and let me know if this is a more acceptable spun sugar result :)
Have a glorious day, full of sugar and honey moments! <3

  4. Okay, this is beautiful. But you need to list off the tips and tricks that your "lovely ladies" shared with you, to help the rest of us who have failed at this technique!! ^_^

    1. hehehe - relly Iroshi, overall, you just have to be really patient and hold till your polish is tacky. Also make sure you make a nice blob of polish. I suggest preparing the blobs before hand - while you're taking off your old polish, massaging some cuticle oil, applying base coat and base colour. By then your blobs are getting on the tacky side, believe me ;)
