What a lovely Sunday it was around these parts here! Boy oh boy!
It wasn't too hot and yet it wasn't cold. The sun shone and the soft breeze carried a sweet flowery smell with it!
Oh thou, most beautiful and gorgeous Spring, how I have missed thee and thy tender fragance!
*sighs* :)
In honour to such a lovely day, here's what manicure I have to present to you:
I wanted pastel colours, so I went with two coats of Purple Professional No.49 and did the accent nail with two coats of Rituals Misty Green.
Here's the finished accent nail in detail.
I used Stamping Plate B10 with Purple Professional No.32 and I'm really proud of how it turned out. To everyone out there, stamping is something really simple, but to me it's a bit of a challenge and here's why:
I'm not one to shop online (actually, I have never done it - how old fashioned of me, I know) and the plates I now and again come by have designs that are really too small for my long and wide nails. Such designs only cover half of my nail, either vertically or horizontally.
This one was done in a three-phase stamping session ;)
I had to repeat the design two and a half times to get it to cover most of my nail and I still had to add a rhinestone to it to make it more consistent! haha ;)
But moving along (I do talk a lot!!), I then added stickers with pink and yellow flowers.
And to complete the look, I went with some lovely dots, made with Rimmel London Peppermint (500).
So what do you think? Springy enough!? And how was the weather around your parts? Hopefully just as sunny and pleasant!
Tell me all in the comments and hope you're prepared for... Monday! ;)More manis coming your way tomorrow and don't forget to check Tuesday and Thursday especially, since it's Tri-Polish Challenge back again! :D
Hugs & Kissies,

DeleteThese are just SO pretty. I never would have thought of this green accent but it's perfect and the colours really pop on the pink. Your photos are beautiful! No sunshine for me today but oh well, I'll borrow yours.
