I'm currently writing this as I fall asleep, so forgive me for any typos.
Today's day 3 of DD Whimsy and I figured I couldn't not include mushrooms. So, inspired by THIS adorable print, I painted these:
Now, red mushrooms are definitely whimsical. Even I know that :)
I thought a nice nude base would be most fitting for these.
I used Inocos Nude Disse Ela.
And proceeded to freehand the mushrooms with acrylic paints.
I added some tiny dots to my index and pinkie due to lack of time - I'll confess these would look a lot more stunning if all fingernails had the mushroom pattern.
(and let's not comment on the hair dragging pattern on my index dotticure, shall we? haha )

Alas! Life being a bummer, that's what it is :)
Nonetheless, these look fab and I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to stick to freehanding nail art so far. Stay tuned for more!!

Looks great! The red mushrooms that you freehanded on is nice.
ReplyDeleteAww how cute! I love mushrooms in design, reminds me of Alice In Wonderland or something!
ReplyDeleteI was looking at these going "oh what a beautiful reverse stamp, I wonder what plate she used"... LOL. Needless to say, incredible work Mina! You're the freehand Queen!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, they are adorable. when you told me you were making these mushrooms, I knew they were going to look spectacular. I think the polka dots are adorable and they match to the design so well. I think it's good that you made the pattern only on two nails, it looks very neat!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cutie! The colors together and the dotted accent nails, perfection!
ReplyDeleteTotally whimsical! Although I hate eating mushrooms, their images are super cute. I love the colors you used!
ReplyDeleteYour free hand nail art is always so perfect! I can't handle it! These are adorable!
