The Digit-al Dozen Does Nail Heroes - Day 1: Debbie aka The Crumpet

Let the world know today's the beginning of another Digit-al Dozen week!

This month were going with Nail Heroes, which can be anything from a nail artist crush/envy we have, a brand that makes us weak in the knees or innovations that rocked our world and made us rock nail art even more.

I want to start the week with one of my fav nail heroes: Debbie, from The Crumpet blog.

Debbie did this floral look on a DD week as well and it's still one of my favourites till this day. 

She went with a more pastel color palette but I thought I'd give it a spin and make it a Debbie-Mina combo of sorts (you know me and bright colours!).

So I started with a base of piCture pOlish Instinct, a vibrant sky blue shade.

I then taped my nails and added some large white stripes - I wanted to make it pretty for Debbie so I wasn't as bold as to freehand them like she did ;)

I did the roses in nail polish, just like she did, though, so that makes it even :)
