We're going for New & Improved, meaning any techniques you haven't mastered before but are brave to try again or any nail art look you've attempted once not so successfully and are now going to tackle for sure.
For this first day, I went with something I've tried only twice: argyle nails.
You can check my first time painting that pattern HERE - talk about disaster, hey? - and the second time a year later HERE - pretty but you can totally see I cheated ;)
So let's see if I actually made progress:
I'm going to say this totally counts as improved, won't you?
And special pat in the back for me for combining this year's Pantone colours, too ;)
I started by painting my nails two coats of Inocos Filigrana, one of my favourite.
And then freehanded the diamond pattern in pale blue acrylic paint, finishing the design with the traced diamond pattern on top with some dark blue.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how did I go?
Don't forget to check the rest of the gang's New & Improved - they've got some awesomeness to show you, too! :)
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
