The Digit-al Dozen DOES Traditions, Day 2: Christmas Tree Glitter Placement

Hello, beautiful people!
How's your day been? I've had a fabulous, rather glitter-tastic one and you'll see why in a minute.

For Digit-al Dozen Day 2 I chose what's a tradition of my Family, very different from what's done in the rest of the country...

In Portugal, people get their Christmas tree and decorations up by Deember 1st.
At home, we used to do everything on Christmas Eve, while Mom baked all the yummy things.

It's delightful to set up the whole decorations with the smell of baked goods filling your nose :)

Christmas Tree Glitter Placement

Glitter Placement Christmas Decorations!!
Aren't these awesome?!

Christmas Nails

I was inspired by @jeealee on Instagram. I love her glitter placement manis and how creative she gets with rhinestones and nail art embelishments in general.
Her two latest designs were my inspiration for this one.

Christmas Tree Glitter Placement

I painted my nails one coat of Nail 4'us The Empress (one of my favourite purples and I can't believ it's turning goopy on me!!).
And did just the Christmas tree in holo silver glitter pieces and a star rhinestone.
I wasn't sure if I'd like it crowded so I took a pic first.

But I actually love the whole things, with the rhinestones lights and all.
They're the cutest. Needless to say these were a success amongst the kids today at school ;)

Let me know what you think! Would you wear such a design?
And how about your Christmas tree? When do you put it up?

Don't forget to stop by the other ladies blogs to awe at their creations and I'll see you tomorrow for Day 3 ;)
