Digit-al Dozen DOES Pinterest: Day 2 - Abstract Watercolour Dotticure

I needed something quick to master and easy to paint that still looked awesome on nails. My mind immediately thought watercolour.

And I was lucky enough to find just what I was looking for and with the colours I wanted, too!
So here are my double-win nails for today's Day 2 of Digit-al Dozen:

Abstract Watercolour Dotticure

Aren't these beautiful to look at?
Maybe I'm just over-stressed and tired and under a lot of work pressure but these soothed  my soul today, I tell you! :)

Abstract Watercolour Dotticure

I used Inocos Filigrana for the background - that perfect rosy nude polish matched the inspirational picture perfectly.

I knew there was a reason for me to find it so smooth and peaceful.
This art piece is called Pond Full of Koi, by Parima Studio.
On the work, the artist says: 'Koi fish have always been fascinating to me, with their bold saturated hues and watercolor type patterns. I aimed to capture the beauty of their simplicity by juxtaposing and overlapping small clusters of colors together, along with limiting the palette.'

Abstract Watercolour Dotticure

I tried to do it justice as much as possible, watercolouring some acrylic paint and the dotticure technique to achieve the final result.

What do you think? I hope you find it just as relaxing at the end of your day - see you tomorrow and don't forget to look at the galery in Inlinkz with all the girls' beautiful work!
