This one's again part of the 2015 Spring/Summer edition that I was sent for review by CF Beauty Cosmetics (check previous posts on this collection HERE).
Let's see what I'm on about then:
Ocean Breeze is a translucent kind of nail polish, with a metallic-y/pearly finish.
The only downside to its beauty is the amount of coats you'll need to make it look semi opaque - you can still see a nail line on my nails even though I applied four coats.
It's the only thing that'll make me think twice when reaching for it.
However, I'll say coats dry fast and the brush strokes aren't that visible considering the type of finish on this polish.
I can understand the name Ocean Breeze - do you know those sunny days, when the light reflects on the water?
But I wasn't inspired by the ocean for this nail art though - all I kept thinking about were fireflies and starry nights.
So, that's what I painted on my nails and I couldn't have found a better canvas.
This colour is terrific indeed and I love the fairy light effect it has.
The nail art was done in black and white acrylic paint.
How do you like it? And how about the nail polish? Is the four coats thing a turn off for you or are you okay with it considering the beautiful colour?
I wanna know, so drop a comment below!
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

Gorgeous blue and the nail art is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteI love that design, so delicate and pretty! 4 coats wouldn't usually put me off so long as it's easy to apply.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely design!! The dawn is absolute my favourite time of the day and this beautiful design reminds me of it :) I personally don't mind 4 coater polishes, as long as it doesn't get too thick :D
ReplyDeleteThis sort of polish I both love and hate. I live the pearly finish, it's so perfect for Summer! But they are so sheer and you need like five coats.. I have a bunch of polishes just like this and I love/hate them! Lol!! I love the nail art!
ReplyDeleteShame about the opacity but your nail art is so beautiful! Delicate and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA lot of work but it does look so good and a lovely bit Art!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! I love how little black you used, would have been to harsh maybe if those part were bigger. Now the balance is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYour mani is so delicate, love it :) Too bad that you needed four coats to reach full opacity !
ReplyDeleteThank you, hun! And you're right, the whole four coats is a bummer
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, sweetie! I was going to add more black, but I'm glad I didn't :)
ReplyDeleteAww, appreciated, thank you, John! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, hun - I, too, was sad - it's such a lovely polish!
ReplyDeleteExactly my thoughts - why do they look lovely but are devils to apply? hehehe
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that cheers me up is that the polish dries really fast, so it doesn't take forever ;)
Dawn in the Summer, specially, is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteThis polish doesn't get thick and the drying time between coats is actually pretty good - I just usually shy away from four coater polishes, because it means I take double the time doing my mani ;(
Thanks, sweetie! It is easy to apply and the quick drying time does help, but still four coats... ;(
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Lisa *
ReplyDeleteI love your nail art, it's so delicate as Dorra said, and the base is beautiful but I'm always put off by shades that are more than 3 coats :(
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this nail art. So subtle and so cute.
ReplyDeleteOh man, 4 coats is a bummer but I love your nail art so much! It's adorable!
