31DC2015 Day 8 - Monochromatic - Black & White Abstract Tape Mani

I'm still excited about this manicure, even though I'm posting it a day late and even though I've got so many posts lined up, running late.

Still, I'm working so many extra hours currently (the school's other English teacher broke her foot, so I'm left teaching eighteen classes total - yay, TGIF!), there was no way I found the strenght (or managed to keep my eyes open) to edit and post last night.

I'll catch up during the weekend, it's a promise! For now, here's my nails for yesterday's prompt: monochromatic:

I was dying for some black and white (although in theory this isn't really monochromatic).

I love the pattern I came up with using striping tape - even despite the couple of touch ups that didn't come out looking all that straight.

Do excuse the fact that my skin appears slightly red on photos, but it's been so cold lately, my skin and cuticles are a bit all over the place right now.
