I'm happy to say Dad is recovering nicely and he's even his grumpy old self a bit (which I never thought would make me happy haha).
I've got my nails for Day 11 to show you and I don't quite know if I got the theme right - I didn't exactly know what to make of it but you tell me:
I do like how lovely and put together these look.
What's with blue nails that makes them so beautiful to look at? :)
I started by painting my nails two coats of Kiko Light Blue (No.340) and letting it dry completely.
Once that was done, I applied some striping tape on each nail and painted random sized darker blue parts with Kiko Indigo (No.294).
These were quite peaceful to look at, I confess and I do like the different 'blue portions'.
Would you consider these for the Reverse Polarities prompt? I was thinking light and dark shades, but I'm not sure that was what was originally meant, so let me know if they count ;)

I think this is a great interpretation. I had several different thoughts on what reversed polarities was and opposites came to mind such as north and south poles, opposite colors such as a filmstrip negative, or those reversed gradient stripes reciprocal stripes or something I think they are called, or like battery poles one negative, one positive.... so many interpretations for this one. I quite like what you came up with.
ReplyDeleteThose two colors look great together.

ReplyDeleteNo freakin' way! These are such a great take on the prompt!
