First of all, I'm so sorry I've been absent, but I've been working twice as much.
After my regular work hours, I've been working in a musical festival (this one here) and I leave there at around 2a.m.
Also, I've broke a nail (have you seen the drama?) and I had to wait for it to heal properly before applying nail polish to it - health before beauty, afterall.
But I couldn't skip today's post - it's Polisher's Inc. third post and one I'm most excited about: Bling 'em Up!
'Cause let's be honest, who doesn't like a lil' bling now and again? ;)
I must confess my idea for this mani went a totally different route after I received a package from Born Pretty Store.
I was thinking more in terms of THIS, but then I couldn't resist one of the products and went with this:
See what I mean?
How could I resist that pretty piece of nail jewelry? :)
This is item #10749 (you can find it here) and it's No.18.
I was afraid it might be too big for my nails but actually the exact opposite happened.
Apparently I do have large nail beds ;)
I started by painting my nails, except my index finger, where I only applied base coat, with Bellaoggi Light Chrome (No.28), which is my most elegant and precious silver nail polish.
I then applied one layer of transparent nail polish and when it was tacky to the touch I pressed the nail jewelry piece on top.
I wasn't going to wear this for long (didn't want to risk loosing it), so you might want to apply it with nail glue ;)
How did you like this one? I know I kind of cheated but... it was for a good cause, right? :)
Don't forget to check everyone else's awesome bling-y nails and show them some love, too! <3
I hope you have a fantastic Sunday and I hope to talk to you very soooooon! :)
Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *
These are stunning! And hey, it's a perfect bling to apply on a healing nail. It's so elegant and sophisticated! I absolutely love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweetie! I'm so happy you really liked it! :)
DeleteThis is so interesting! What do you exactly do in this festival?)) Sorry about your nail again :(( But this piece of jewelry fit your new nail length perfectly!)) And this blue shade is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI was selling refreshments and snacks, hun ;)
DeleteThank you for your sweet words *
This is nice! Love the bling too.
ReplyDeleteI am soooo jealous of this nail jewellery! I can't wear it, since I've chosen a square shape, but I'm actually considering re-forming my nails just to be able to wear this... It's GORGEOUS! Although the other mani you were thinking of is absolutely gorgeous as well, I don't blame you for cheating a little bit with this one, because it is to die for :D
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you for your comment, dear! Really happy you liked this, despite the slight 'cheat' ;)
DeleteThe nail shield looks wonderful on your nail. I am new to ornamenting my nails and it is exciting to see the various ways we can do so. So far, I have only used crystal and silver studs! I like the idea of using a nail shield for the bling. And, Wow, that awesome nail polish you used for the other nails ~ Gor-geous!
ReplyDeleteI followed the link to The Drama - OUCHIE! That break looks painful. Glad it has recovered enough for you to work with it.
Thank you as always for the beautiful photos. I don't know how you nail bloggers do it - having such busy lives and still taking the time, expense and trouble to do your pretty nails, photograph them, write about them, do editing and publishing them, etc. I do appreciate your generosity in sharing your passion for polish!
Awww, I don't even know where to start! Thank you so much for your kind and sweet words, always, dear :)
DeleteReading your comments always makes my day and keeps my energy up so I can deal with a busy life and still find time and joy in painting my nails and blogging about it <3
*Hugs* and thank you so much

ReplyDeleteThank you, hun :)
