Recently I received some pretty cool feather waterdecals (click here) from Born Pretty Store and I was dying to use them for some cool nail art.
I've also been longing to wear a gradient on my nails, so this happened:
Now, be honest, what do these look like to you? ;)
BF said that from afar, because of the way I'd arranged two feathers together, these looked like palm trees!
Whaaaaa'?
Do you agree?
Either way, if you look at is with the thumb included maybe it's not palm trees anymore, right?
Right... ;)
Anyway, onto details now. I've used three polishes to make the gradient:
Inocos Ranheta (darker blue); Inocos Céu (lighter blue) and Inocos Pipoca em Viagem (white).
As for the waterdecals I just cut them around the design and dip them in lukewarm water with a pair of tweezers - I find that lukewarm water works better than cold one.
And I couldn't have loved this one more! The decals are fabulous, very detailed and make for such an awesome effect, without you needing to spend hours freehanding it (we all know how feathers can be hard to nail, right?)
Hope you like this one and don't forget you can get a 10% discount with the code below ;)
Talk to you soon, lovelies!! <3
