I can never get inspired around Easter time - I guess Easter nails aren't just my type.
Still, I wanted to paint something sweet on my nails and I was aiming for Kawaii cuteness, when I came accross this picture.
I couldn't say no to Easter nails no longer, know what I mean? ;)
I adapted the design, mainly because I didn't feel like spending ages doing my nails and not enjoying my family's company.
So this is what came out:
Ok, ok, I've got to admit Easter nails can be pretty darn cute ;)
I started by applying two coats of white polish on all nails, using Inocos Pipoca em Viagem (it's almost finished this one! :/ ).
I then took my acrylic paints and mixed blue, pink, yellow, violet and turquoise with white to make some pastel shades.
I then freehanded some stripes using the watercolour technique.
For my accent nail, I drew the lil' bunny - woohhh macro shot - and tried my best to make it look like the original one.
Not much luck there, my bunny's head is way too round, but I still like the way it turned out :)
To finish it all I then applied some loose glitter on the rest of the nails for a sparkly effect.
You can never have too much sparkly effect ;)
And that's it! I hope you've had a lovely Easter Sunday, or - if you don't care much about Easter - just a lovely Sunday :)
Today is also my last day of holidays and I've got a feeling Monday's going to kick my arse twice as hard - hehehe
So, enjoy the evening as best as you can - I surely will :)
Hugs & Kissies,
