Craving For Neon Nails (Already)

You can tell you're tired of Winter when by the first sunny days your neon cravings start wanting to rule your world :)

Today, I let the cravings win - they totally deserved it and were more than worth it :)

NEON!! This is Passe Mati Design and it was a present from a dear friend :)
I just wish they weren't so difficult to capture - it's like they have a magic of their own, they don't want to share with the camera (just rude!).
Still, I think you can it's some pretty awesome shade, hey? :)

I paired it with Kiko Ink Blue (No.355) and I love the contrast these two make!
Loving it soooo much! *.*

I added striping tape in a criss-cross pattern and applied it on all nails.
While it was still drying, I applie one rhinestone on each nail, taking different spots.

I just got really sad about the smearing - when I applied top coat it smudged bits and pieces, here and there, which made me sad.
But then I thought - hey! it's neon! cheer up, girl!
And I did and even threw in two rings my sister gave me as a present :))

So, what do you think? Is it neon time yet? ;)
Hope you're enjoying some great sunny days as well - start taking those neons and pastels (depending on which are your favourite) out!!! Spring is coming!!! *.*

Have a lovely evening and we'll talk soon!

Hugs & Kissies,
Mina *

  1. It's always time for neons I think :-))) in winter they take away the grizzle and in the summer they just are ablaze. (Hope my vocabulary is right..) neons are a kind of colour therapy on speed :o)
I've seen a "cement" polish recently in neon purple and guess it's a "textured" one but since it's a no-name product I'm shy in buying, but they had grand neons and now you remind me of them *ouhouhowww*

I like your pattern, and especially the rhinestones in different places... I never like too regular things. These colours were my favourite combo in my early years :o)

Anyway, I've done my mermaid mani today and hope to publish the post tonight on my fingertip gallery :-P
Best wishes from Berlin in spring

    1. hehehe - I gotta agree with you, Moni ;) Also, don't be afraid of no-name products - sometimes they bring great surprises :D
How about that mermaid mani? Went to look for it but couldn't find it ;)
Have a great day, darling! *

    2. You were just that bittie too fast, I've just now posted it :-)))

I have some very good experiences with no-namers. Just the price was with 1,90 euros or so a bittie toi high for a spontaneous grabbing... maybe theyre there next time and I'll still like them... lets see. I'm strictly on my budget of 2 euros and that's almost the top. I've found so many 1 euro goodies in the last weeks and so this is of course relative O:-)

Some of my favouriteare no namers (or very cheap ones) , although they don't have too many shades I actually want to have, but the ones I have are great. So I'm always good for these surprises... although sometimes the surprise was a drying time of 8 hours O_o

      Have a fab day, dear!

  3. I broke out the Flip Flop Fantasy last month! Was so tired of dreary winter polish colors. Love both your colors. And the rhinestones!
