You see, I've got so many beautiful new buttons I can't help but be inspired into recreating them on my nails.
Today I did take some liberty with the colours though and made a few of them slightly different from the original.
And bearing in mind I'm down with the flu, I think I didn't do too bad.
Let's see it, then:
Ta-da!!
Please ignore the bruise, they haven't healed properly, yet.
What do you think?
I feel like my lines aren't as straight as I'd love them to be - again, annoying flu and a massive headache didn't help - but I kind of like their sketchy look, don't you?
I've started with a white base - Inocos Pipoca Em Viagem - and while waiting for it to dry completely, I started mixing my acrylic paints to make all different shade of blue and purple.
I then painted the rectangles in different angles - either horizontal or vertical - and did a couple squares, too.
Managing the colours was the difficult part but I think I did good :)
I finished it all with some black outlining using my Flormar Nail Art NA12.
And now for a little riddle before we go:
Can you spot the part where I missed the outline? ;)
Answer in the comments below and take the chance to let me know what you think of these.
I promise I'll be good and won't bother you with buttons for a while ;)
Have a wonderful evening, lovelies, and see you tomorrow!
