Some months ago, the word gradient in a challenge would make me shiver from anxiety.
But I'm a whole new woman where gradients are concerned - acrylics did change my life! hahaha ;)
I know it's kind of like cheating but I had some new acrylics I wanted to try out - especially the turquoise one - and I couldn't but comply ;)
I even considered leaving it on as was - I mean just the gradient - but then... my nail art brush looked at me with a sad face and I just couldn't!
I wish I'd taken a photo with just the gradient for you, lovelies, but it was almost too late in the evening and I still wanted to take photos to post this one early - that's how much I like it! :D
Anyway, I got inspired by this picture - my «Ideas» folder in Pinterest is getting fuller by the day - and this is what came out:
I'm showing you big thumb first, not because it's a favourite but because it's where you best see the gradient.
I used turquoise, bright yellow and white and it turned out sooooo lovely!
On its own it was so tropical like! :)
(I should have taken pictures!!)
(I should have taken pictures!!)
There are many things I need to learn still - I suck at proportions, for instance and can never measure things up properly ;)
The house on my middle finger should've been way smaller than that - hahaha
But I am in love with my pinkie and ring finger.
I love them to bits! And am really proud of the thin lines I achieved! :D
Of course then it all just went down the weird lane with the rest of the nails but...
I still love this mani very, very much! <3
And if I may say so, it's one of my favourites ! :))
How do you find these? Good enough? How about that gradient, hey? ;)
Let me know all about it in the comment section below - boy, am I having fun with 31DC!!! <3
