On today's post, I'll show you how's it going with the nails on my right hand, aka Cinderella Hand, CH for short.
So, let me start by telling you how CH is unique:
(1) I never wear the same manicure on both my left and right nails. And what's more, they sometimes don't even portray the same base colour. ;)
I know this is not just my own crazyness. Many other bloggers tend to go 'this way', too.
That's why I admire bloggers (and nail fans in general) who actually have all nails with matching nail art!
(2) I'm a rightie and although I do try and practise at ambidexterity, I haven't gotten to that point yet.
Also, because sometimes doing nail art on my left hand takes so long, I tend to leave my right hand with something simple or what I call 'bare nails' (nothing but base coat and a pretty nail polish, no nail art in sight).
(3) Sometimes, like these last couple of days, I even have long nails on my left hand and short nails on my right hand. I prefer my nails long but you know how life is. Sometimes the odd chip and tear do come to ruin everything and you're left to make do with what little is left ;(
Today, thanks to BF who took the amazing photos below <3, I'm going to show you how all of the above is true... if you promise not to laugh! :D
Ta-da! :D
How weird is that? I mean, I don't think it weird and I'm fine with it but... know what I mean? ;)
Just look at the difference in lenght!?
Wow! It's actually more noticeable on camera than in real life - hahaha
Do you fancy the polish on my 'left nails'? Make sure you check my FB page to see what polish I'm wearing.

As for my 'right nails', I used Bellaoggi No.36 as base colour and did a polka dot pattern with Bellaoggi No.12.
(I did confess some posts ago I was obssessed with this brand, so be patient with me :))
I'm actually considering keeping my right nails more on the short side, so I can show you some of the alternative looks they sometimes wear ;)
What do you think? Would that be a good idea?
And how do you prefer your nails (or any nails for that matter)? Long? Short? Medium?
Let me know all about it in the comment section below and have a super duper fantastic evening! <3
Hugs & Kissies,

Hihi! This is so cute! There are differences between my nails too, but not that obvious. I prefer medium nails :-)
ReplyDeletehehe - so happy you enjoyed this post, sweetie! :)
DeleteThank you**
Oh my gosh! I love you for this post :) My hand look EXACTLY the same :D Short nails on my CH and NEVER matching manis hahaha :)But who cares? :) Thanks for showing us these pics :)
ReplyDeletehehehe
DeleteI remember us talking about being alike in this matter and I finally gathered the courage to 'come out of the closet' - muhaha ;)
Haha I'm the same most the time but if I am going out I have to have them matching! I too have shorter nails on my right hand at the moment due to a break - boo! xx
ReplyDeleteYep, matching nails when going out! Agreed! :))
DeleteAlso, I don't get it, but my right hand nails beak so much more than my left ones! Incredible ;)
p.s. I love how they don't match - your nails are gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteawwwww... thank you sooooo much :D
DeleteI love, love, love this post.
ReplyDeleteI'll just keep it short... the way I like my nails ;) .
Thank you so much! That's so sweet of you! **
DeleteI love short nails but with mine I'm always afraid I won't have room for nail art, so I let them grow hahah :)
Aahah! I'm a matching freak...in lenght and in colour, so if i do some nail art on my left hand, my right has, at least, the same colour I used on my left, and if I have a major break on my right, I'll file down aaaaalll my nails to match that one. :P
ReplyDeletehahahah - I wish I was as 'neat' as you are - guess I'm just a freak! Or maybe just not that good at nail art with my left hand heheh ;)
DeleteAh I love this post! I quite often only paint my right hand when I'm swatching and then never get round to taking it all off and doing both my hands, so I've definitely been known to rock the odd hands look! :-)
ReplyDeletehehehe - the odd hand look sounds great to me! And, honey, with your nail designs you make the odd hand look rock big time! ;)
DeleteI'm not alone!!!!!! I'm happy to read I'm not alone in this!
ReplyDeleteBTW I usually wear medium squoval nails just because I have some issues in typing at office, but I'm in love with veeeeery long nails, so please don't get them shorter! :D
hahah - def not alone, darling! :D
DeleteI do tend to have my nails more on the long side, so don't worry - I'm lazy at filing them down, anyway ;)
Haha, how cute! :)
ReplyDeleteMy hands usually match though, I do the same design on both hands unless I don't have time, but that really hardly ever happens. I have too much of an OCD not to match my hands, lol :p
Honey, in that case, you're the definition of amazing to me! ;)
DeleteBut we know that already! ;)
ps. congrats on Sophie's competition - you so totally deserved it! <3
I'm glad to hear it isn't just me! I've been known to have a bright cheerful mani on one hand and then some black and silver goth looking design on the other ;)
