Because, let's face it, be it the straw version or the toothbrush one, or even the spray bottle technique, you're signing up for a messy manicure, right?! I mean, for sure!
And seeing I already change nail polish every single day I try to spare my cuticles any extra agressiveness, if i can ;)
So, I did splashy nails, my way! And I ended up with zero mess and a fun look nevertheless! Yey! <3
Pretty or... PRETTY?! :D
I found some pretty flowers to pair with the funky colourful mani and that makes me even happier! Really like how these photos turned out!
Although, I'm quite sure, one of these days the neighbours will start ringing the white coat doctors to come and pick me up, what with all the photographing outside and in the middle of gardens and what not! ;)
I went first with two coats of OPI Alpine Snow.
Yes, I bought another bottle of white polish! haha
Can't believe I'm going through a white polish bottle a month! Lord!
Can't believe I'm going through a white polish bottle a month! Lord!
I then picked four colours I thought would go well together and added the polish splashy pattern at will.
yellow - Perfect Lady No.31
pink - Ciaté Kiss Chase
blue - Prestige Light Denim
green - Nail Rock Neptune
All I did was dab the polish as to make it random drips of polish and although it doesn't perfectly portray the spilling effect, I think they came out real purrrty! :))
Hope you'll like them as much as I have and make sure you have a great Monday, no matter what the weather is like and despite the fact that it's a Monday (it's good to be on holidays! :D)
Hugs & Kissies,

It's so beautiful Mina :) I want to try it too.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
DeleteI think you should try it and I'd love to see it! :D
Ohhh I love your version of a splatter! You know I was just thinking of tomorrow's mani and splatter did cross my mind... hmm who knows!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally understand what you mean that your neighbors will start calling a doctor. Mine are always giving me weird looks when I stand on my balcony with a camera and my hand up in the air :D Hahaha Totally beautiful background tho :)
Hehehe - I bet yours would look fab! I've been loving your manis of lately so, so much!! <3
DeleteAnd spot on with the whole hand up in the air - hhahaha!
Oh, neighbours and passers-by, they must tell funny stories of us ;)
Ilike your splatter mani :) This is so colorful! I hated using a straw when I did my version so this is a good alternative :) When doctor comes to you show him your blog and the number of followers. He will understand that there aren't enough beds in the hospital for us all :))
ReplyDeleteAwwww.... I've just melted with your fab comment! Thank you so much for the support! I'll tell 'em all just that hehehe ;)
DeleteHappy I could show you a different splatter 'technique' (can I even call it that? ;))
Hehe, great cheat you used there! Looks good!
ReplyDeleteI think my neighbours just think I'm the most narcissistic person ever and totally in love with my hands ;)
Yes ma'am! :D My cuticles liked this cheat a lot! hehe
DeleteAnd as for your neighbours they should check your work - that way they'd understand! hahh <3
Totally random but it looks amazing!
