They Just Pop!

Saturday I came across a picture on FB of this tutorial here.
My idea? Let's try and do something s i m i la r  to our nails, shall we?

And so I did! :)

It began by looking like something like this:

I've used Purple Professional No.18 as a base colour and then drew a mini nail on top of it, following the shape of my nails as much as possible, using Flormar P037.

Now this was a very sheer nude colour and it took me three coats to look like this over black.

Phew! That's why I took pictures of how it looked, in case I was about to ruin it all ;)

I then went for the dots and dared not to do anything else! haha :)

The red I used was Bourjois 10jours No.16.

Though not entirely a look-alike from the makeup look, I still think these came out really pretty! :)

In fact, I got so happy with how they turned out, I still got them on!

And they reminded me of a challenge opportunity I was nearly forgetting about.

Shopie is hosting another competition and though there are no nail items as prizes, it's always fun to participate! You should do so, too! ;)

I'm now off to think of a cool design to send her and hope you'll do the same - I wanna see your nails! hehe :)
