Then We're Gonna Finish Rough!

... was the motto for today's manicure.

No matter how cute monster aliens might be, they're also very eye-catching and to be honest, the day after all you want is a relaxing, simple, 'normal' mani :)

Now, I do tell you I was very lucky to be able to catch some rays of sun to take these photos, but you might still be able to notice some light changes - the weather was just impossible to work with! 

*sighs*

Like I said, I kept it simple today - I wanted a manicure that wouldn't take me more than 30minutes and this is what I came up with.

I started with one coat of Rimmel London AquaCool (420) , a very creamy lilac kind of blue, almost periwinkle but without the shimmer.

After placing diagonal stripes of tape on each nail, I then went for Kiko Sugar Mat Turquoise (637) and applied one coat.

I liked this manicure - nice and simple - and I loved the contrast between both polishes with such different finishes.

And I can tell you, with no shame: I spent the day petting my  nails! Oh, how I love the texture on these polishes!  :D
